Providing Hope To Those Seeking A Better Future For Themselves And Their Families.

It is our mission to provide hope to those in need and to share resources and opportunities through Grace Bridge. Welding is among the top sustainable trades that provide career opportunity to become self-sufficient and a contributor to their family and community.

IMPART HOPE

We come alongside individuals who are looking for a pathway to a hopeful future through high-impact career training and life coaching

Celebrate Achievements

Celebrating milestones is important to Grace Bridge. Our hope is to build lasting relationships and motivate people to establish and pursue future goals

Loving Environment

We welcome the uniqueness and honor the dignity of every student so that each student would feel loved and cared for

Excellence in Teaching

We teach and encourage personal responsibility through discipleship and mentoring

  • We teach students a marketable job skill, enabling them to provide for their families; giving hope for their future.

We disciple and mentor students by teaching them important life skills through our faith-based program.

We help students seek well-paying jobs after becoming certified through our network of partners who are actively looking for qualified welders.

  • Our six-week class includes instruction in MIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding. Students may be certified in up to (2) processes of the students' choosing. At the conclusion of the class, an inspector from the American Welding Society will examine each students welds.

Upon passing the AWS certification exam, each graduate’s name will appear in the national registry of certified welders

If you would like more information or to apply for an upcoming class, please email us your full name, a good phone number to call and inquiry detail. A team member will contact you within 72 hours.

  • DARR HEALY

Darr worked in the natural gas industry in Colorado the past 40+ years and was a pipeline welder for 30 years. His certification is in pipeline welding. He is qualified both in cellulose (downhill) and low-hydrogen (uphill) pipeline welding and worked several projects as a welding inspector.

While in Colorado, he had a weekly prison ministry for over 25 years. After moving to Texas, Darr has connected with a Texas prison ministry.

His life verse is Ephesians 3:20 because God can do more than we can ever imagine!

    PHIL HOCKING

Phil is a retired Mechanical Engineer who spent most of his career inventing and developing machines. He has extensive experience as a Machinist, CAD Designer (Computer Aided Design), Woodworking-Cabinet Maker and general Handy Man.

Prior to retiring and moving to Prosper, Phil lived in Manhattan Beach, California, where he helped start a ministry to train men and women to weld and become AWS certified. The training included spiritual mentoring and exists today as ReIGNITE Hope.

ReIGNITE Hope is a faith-based welding school that has helped change many lives in the hardest areas of Los Angeles. Grace Bridge has partnered with ReIgnite Hope to model our welding program after their successful training program and we desire to see the same change take place within our community.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Tuition is valued at $1,500 per student but through our scholarship funds most students will experience our program with very small financial impact. Will you consider supporting our students and their efforts?
