Disasters come in many forms and whether it’s a natural or man-made disaster affecting an entire community or a personal disaster affecting a single family, there always seems to be a common truth —
we are never fully prepared when disaster strikes.
On January 5th, 2018, the Tomasino family lost nearly all of their belongings in a house fire. When Grace Bridge found out, we knew we had to help. Watch Desiree’s testimony and hear how God used a devastating house fire to make beauty rise from the ashes.
From tornadoes to floods, fires to droughts and famine, disasters bring long-term consequences and often take a physical and emotional toll too devastating for families to overcome without the assistance of their neighbors. Grace Bridge has developed a quick-response team ready to act when disaster strikes within 200 miles of North Texas. Through our Neighbor-to-Neighbor Disaster Relief program, we provide essential help and assistance on the ground, along with items or aid needed by our neighbors in the aftermath of a disaster to aid in their recovery and provide HOPE as they begin their journey of putting their lives back together.
“The Grace Bridge family was amazing of just wanting to help —not knowing us and not knowing what we’d been through.”
