Providing food for those in need was the original charge of Grace Bridge when our organization was formed in 2011. And though our mission has expanded to include additional services, Grace Bridge continues to operate as a regional food bank serving food-insecure individuals, families, and households in Collin and Denton counties, along with portions of five other counties of North Texas, via biweekly food distributions and community cookouts.

Having enough food to maintain a healthy lifestyle is not the only problem facing the unemployed and working poor in North Texas. Often, households must choose between buying food and paying for other essential items or services. Thus, Grace Bridge attempts to bridge those gaps for the families we serve by providing hygiene products, eye exams and eye wear, clothing provisions, and other items and services sought by the families we serve.

Disasters come in many forms, and whether they are natural or man-made and affect an entire region or community or a single family, there always seems to be a common truth running through them all -- we are never fully prepared when a disaster strikes. Grace Bridge has developed a quick-response team ready to act when disaster strikes our neighbors, providing essential help and assistance on the ground, along with any items or aid needed to aid in their recovery.

Welcome to Grace Bridge and thank you for visiting our website. Grace Bridge seeks to help provide the basic necessities of life for those in need in our local community. We are strategically focused on caring for the whole person through efforts that include food assistance, eye care, clothing provision, and spiritual development. Whether through a box of food, an article of clothing, or a simple conversation, we strive to build relationships that will lead people to transforming encounters with Christ. Grace Bridge is a volunteer-based organization equipping neighbors to help neighbors or folks we may have never met. We hope that as you get to know more about what we do and those we serve that you may become motivated to help us serve hope to those in our community. If you would like to help us by volunteering, donating goods or services, or by contributing financially, please know that we can use your support. All donations and contributions make a difference in our community. Again, thank you for visiting and allowing us the continue our mission.

“Working with Grace Bridge Eye Clinic and providing eye exams and glasses has been a privilege for my family and a wonderful opportunity to help others in our community. Lone Star Vision has seen many of the volunteers as patients, and they often let us know how proud they are to support a practice that uses its resources for a greater cause. We are blessed to be part of the Grace Bridge team and love sharing the hope of Christ that will change people’s lives forever.”

-Todd Brantley, O.D.

"Carter Morris and Grace Bridge are a gift from God to our Church and community. Grace Bridge provides another avenue for our church to obey God's command to care for the poor, it allows us to share God's love and the good news of Christ in tangible ways, and it is a means to disciple our own people in a practical way as they not only give to missions – they go on mission."

-Craig Walker - Lifeway Church

"Grace Bridge is my other family. Everybody has made me feel right at home – like part of the family. [Volunteering at Grace Bridge] has enriched my life, and [the food that I’ve received as a participant] has definitely helped my family. Grace Bridge is my home away from home. It is my church on Saturdays."

-Gale Spratt

"Y’all were a Godsend for me. I was really down low. When I called the first time… ya’ll just lifted me up. And I felt like coming there and getting the love that you all give out is just wonderful."
